Comprehensive Eye Exams

There are many conditions that can cause irreversible vision loss if not detected and treated early.  Comprehensive eye exams are much more than vision evaluations and recommended annually for children and adults, even if you have 20/20 vision.

In today's technological world, viewing digital screens for extended periods often causes eye strain, headaches, and dry eyes.  Vision should be clear AND comfortable.  Our optometrists use an individualized approach to enhance your quality of life through optimized vision.

Contact Lens Exams

Advancements in optical technology have made contacts more comfortable and available in a wider range than ever before.  We offer expert fittings tailored to your lifestyle needs for single vision, astigmatism, bifocal, monovision, colored and hard contacts.  We offer the convenience of daily disposable contact lenses as well as extended wear, biweekly and monthly replacement options.  We also include a trial pair of contacts with your exam so you can immediately experience the newest in contact lens technology.

As much as 80% of classroom learning occurs through sight.  When vision is not functioning properly, a child's learning, hand-eye coordination, and self-esteem can be negatively impacted.

Vision screenings in school are not a replacement for a comprehensive eye exam.  Why?  School vision screenings generally do NOT include an assessment of eye health, near visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, eye teaming or eye tracking.

Myopia Management

Myopia Management

Myopia, or nearsightedness, refers to the inability to see faraway objects clearly. Its prevalence is rising rapidly among children, and in 96% of cases, childhood onset myopia worsens as the child grows. Myopia progression, left untreated, increases the risk of sight-threatening conditions later in life, including retinal detachment and glaucoma.

MiSight® 1 day is the first and only soft contact lens FDA-approved to slow the progression of myopia in children.

Take a proactive step in protecting your child’s vision—contact our office today to schedule a myopia management consultation.
